New Lift Irrigation Project Approved for Farmers in Bhawanathpur

The long-standing irrigation crisis for farmers in Bhawanathpur and surrounding villages of Garhwa district will soon be resolved. The state government has approved a new mega lift irrigation project. Once completed, the project will ensure year-round water supply to over 5000 hectares of agricultural land, which is expected to significantly increase farmers income.
