On this historic day, following the Paris Climate Conference, representatives from more than 195 countries across the world and executives from major multinationals signed a new agreement that aims to reduce global carbon emissions by 55 percent by 2030. This step is being considered a turning point in fighting global climate change.

Under the agreement, financial assistance to both developed and developing countries, technology transfer and creation of a special fund for renewable energy projects were created. Initiatives also include key ecological foundations and marine conservation areas, which will also have a positive impact on biodiversity.
