Monsoon has reached the north-eastern districts of Jamtara, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Sahibganj and parts of Dhanbad, Giridih and East Singhbhum. However, according to weather experts, there will be less rainfall than normal in June. The situation may improve in July, August and September. This normal rainfall is expected in rain deficient areas like Garhwa, Palamu and Chatra.
