National, Bureau Desk | India's indigenous Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system Netra will receive Final Operational Clearance (FOC) on June 25. A ceremony will be held at DRDO's Center for Airborne Systems (CABS) in Bengaluru. Netra AEW&C system is India's first indigenous airborne early warning aircraft, also known as 'Eye in the Sky'. The system is capable of detecting, tracking and identifying multiple air and sea targets simultaneously. This will strengthen the network-centric warfare capabilities of the Indian Air Force.
