The lack of Aadhaar services in Garhwa is also affecting children and students. School enrolment, scholarship, bank account and nutrition schemes require Aadhaar update or enrollment.
Reports have also revealed that efforts are being made to increase Aadhaar services through the Postal Department, but the number of trained personnel and lack of active centers remains a challenge.
Parents say that children will get the most relief by organizing base camps at Panchayat or school level. With this, families from far-flung villages will not have to go to the block headquarters again and again.
