After the administrative reshuffle in Jharkhand, people's expectations from the new leadership in Garhwa district have increased. Problems related to roads, drinking water, health, education and revenue have been in discussion for a long time in the district.
Local citizens say that regular public hearing at the district level and review of plans in the blocks can increase the pace of work. There is a need for time bound action in matters related to pension, ration, housing and land in rural areas.
Administrative coordination is extremely important in a border district like Garhwa. Putting development plans on the ground and strengthening the trust of common people will be a big priority for the new DC.
