Mizoram, Bureau Desk | Mizoram has secured first position in the country in digitization of voter list under Special Intensive Revision (SIR). According to election officials, the state has completed 68.05 percent digitization, the highest among the 16 states and three union territories participating in the exercise. Among the districts of Mizoram, Khawjawal has recorded the highest progress with 96.16 per cent, followed by Champhai (92.57 per cent) and Serchhip (90.93 per cent). So far, distribution of 99.90 percent forms has been completed in the state. This drive is being conducted to ensure the accuracy of voter records before the upcoming elections.
